A Brief Introduction to Thailand's Beijing Chamber of Commerce
The Thai Beijing Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the Chamber of Commerce) was established on July 18, 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. It is an independent corporate body officially approved and registered by the Thai Ministry of Interior. The Chamber of Commerce was jointly organized by Dr. Cai Rongzhuang, a number of senior Chinese and overseas Chinese in Thailand, and Beijingers from all walks of life in Thailand. The main members of the Chamber of Commerce include serving or outgoing Thai politicians, heads of relevant government departments, cooperative enterprises with China, trade promotion organizations, etc. Its members include more than 100 well-known Thai enterprise resources in various industries including local finance, real estate, food and catering.
In recent years, the Chamber of Commerce has actively promoted the exchange and cooperation between Thailand, China and Beijing in the fields of economy, trade and culture. In 2014, it facilitated the signing of a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive strategic cooperation between PEA ENCOM, a new energy company of Thailand Electric Power Company, and Comprehensive New Energy Company of China Southern Power Grid. In January 2015, host the "2015 China Economic High-end Interpretation" activity; From 2015 to 2017, it hosted the "Culture China Water Cube Cup" overseas Chinese song competition in Thailand for three consecutive years and won the "Best Organization Award" for three consecutive years.
